Blending Methodologies for the Modern Music Classroom

Full course description
This one-week in-person workshop offered on the campus of Elizabethtown College July 11 through 15, will hone in on best practices from many approaches to music education including, but not limited to, Kodaly, Orff-Schulwerk, and Dalcroze. While engaging in joyful music-making, each participant will get the chance to focus on their unique school and curricular needs. Each day, participants will actively make music using techniques from these approaches and learn how to use them together in order to maximize the time they have with their students.
Participants will be eligible for Act 48 credit offered through the PA Department of Education.
